GLEN CARBON – St. James Lutheran Church in Glen Carbon invites local families to join them for a one-day Vacation Bible School Sunday Funday on July 11.

The family-focused event, which is free and open to the community, will include crafts, bounce houses with water fun, a VBS lesson, snow cones and games for children. In addition, there will be fun for all ages with cornhole, washers and other outside games. A free lunch, including grilled hotdogs, smoked pork and more, also will be provided for all attendees.
The FunDay will start at noon and last until 3 p.m.
“We’d like to invite all families with children to join us for what will be a great summer event,” said Eric Robinson, an organizer of the event and head of the education team at St. James. “Come out and have some lunch, play some games, get a little wet and learn about Jesus.”
