The SNIP Alliance is returning to the Riverbend today and tomorrow to spay and neuter pets at a greatly reduced price. The two-day event is being held at the Noah's Wish building in East Alton. It is by appointment only, and organizers say they are booked solid, but are hoping to make it back to the area sometime soon.
SNIP President Sandra Eaves says doing so is contingent upon funding.
In April, the SNIP Alliance provided the same service for 105 animals during two weekend mobile events in Granite City. Eaves says this event is made possible thanks to the help of partners 4 Pets, OPSPOT, Noah's Wish, Purina, and the Simmons Law Firm.
