The 7th annual Snowflake Festival is being held tonight at Glazebrook Park in Godfrey, and it's free to attend. Godfrey Park and Recreation puts on the event each year, featuring lights, a horse drawn carriage ride, and a visit with Santa. Participants are encouraged to dress warm, and bring a canned good or non-perishable food item for the Crisis Food Center.
The free event is tonight from 6-8 near the concession stand at the park. Hot cocoa and cookies will also be given out while supplies last. Free photos with Santa will be taken in the Gazebo, courtesy of Godfrey resident Norma Glazebrook who donated the property to the village for creation of the park.
