A hunter stumbled across a human skull on Monday, near a waste water treatment facility in Sauget.  Police found the rest of the remains when they returned to the site on Tuesday.  They believe the skeleton may have been there for about two years.

The bottom half of the skeleton was clothed in blue sweatpants sized 44 to 46, which had five Russian coins inside the pockets.  There was no other identification found at the scene.  Police suspect foul play because there's a hole in the back of the skull.  The remains were found in a remote area west of Route 3.  Anyone with information should contact authorities in Sauget.
