Lt. Gov. Sheila Simon is speaking out in favor of a prescription marijuana proposal awaiting an Illinois Senate vote. “One of the convincing things for me was to meet up with folks who are living with chronic diseases, such as multiple sclerosis,” Simon said, “who have tried multiple, different kinds of medicines for pain relief and have found that marijuana is the best for them and really improves the quality of their life.”
