The man accused of building bombs in a Shiloh home has been indicted. Justin Vangilder is charged with three counts of possessing unregistered destructive devices. Authorities uncovered three pipe bombs at his home after receiving a tip earlier this month. They also found propane tanks, razors, and baggies full of shells around the house.
Vangilder was apparently planning an attack on child molesters in the area and wanted to “inflict as many casualties as possible.” He’s a senior Airman at the Scott Air Force Base. Officials haven’t said whether he was planning to use the bombs on-base.
