The Wood River-Hartford School Board has approved new wall-to-wall contracts with teachers in the district. The 97 certified teachers and non-certified personnel agreed to a three-year deal on Monday night and it was approved by the School Board on Tuesday. the deal includes a three year contract over language, a one year agreement regarding salary and benefits, including salary and stipend re-openers for years 2 and 3 of the deal. The package also includes a 3.1 percent salary increase.
The board also listened to presentation on a program called Curriculum Loft Classroom, a one-to-one computer initiative that includes a management system for curriculum delivery to students.
