A Roxana man will spend the next 14 years in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of posession of child pornography and one count of aggravated sexual abuse. Authorities say that 27-year old Brian K. Cooper of the 300 block of Rohm Street had computer files containing more than 3,000 photos and videos depicting child pornography, including images depicting children as young as five performing sex acts.

Cooper was arrested after the Attorney General Office's Internet Crimes Against Children Task force detected his activity through a software program that detects certain activity throughout the state of Illinois. He has been held on $200,000 bond since March and will be given credit for time served.
