If you have stacks of personal mail and documents that you might not want anyone to see in your recycling, then you are in luck. Two Alton politicians along with the Riverbend Growth Association are hosting a Free Community Shred Day this Saturday.
A professional and licensed document shredding service will be destroying not only paper documents, but discs and hard drives as well. State Representative Dan Beiser of Alton is teaming up with State Senator Bill Haine, also of Alton, to host the shredding fest with the help of the RBGA. Beiser says the more, the merrier.
