The American Cancer Society Relay for Life Riverbend is coming up in two weeks at East Alton Wood River High School. The goal this year is to raise $100,000 and so far nearly 50 teams have signed up. There's still time to take part and cancer survivors are invited to the free dinner that takes place prior to the walk.
Relay for Life Chairperson Tracy Driver says the 16th annual Riverbend event will take place Friday, June 8 and it will be a jammed packed night of fun and friendship:
It all wraps up at 6am on Saturday June 9. For more information, or to sign up to attend the cancer survivor's dinner, go to a link at this story at Alton Daily News.com.
