It's a familiar request, but one that fewer people act on during the holiday season- roll up your sleeves and donate blood.   There will be a number of opportunities to donate blood at an American Red Cross blood drive in the coming month or so.  All blood types are needed, and organizers are hoping for a decent turn out across Madison County.

He says the weeks before and after the holidays are historically a slow period for blood donations for a number of reasons.  Here is a list of the coming blood drives in Madison County:
