Enrollment at SIUE for the spring semester is greater than ever before. There are more than 10,200 full-time students and 13,346 overall enrolled in classes. The undergraduate schools experiencing the most growth over last year include the School of Nursing, School of Engineering, School of Business, and the School of Education, Health and Human Behavior.
Scott Belobrajdic, Associate Vice Chancellor for Enrollment, tells The Big Z the School of Nursing is up 17% over last spring.

The growing numbers can be attributed to many factors, according to Belobrajdic, including academic quality and affordability. He says for the second year in a row, fall to spring retention for the freshman class has reached 90 percent.
