Enrollment at SIUE for the spring semester is greater than ever before. There are more than 10,000 full-time students and 13,178 overall enrolled in classes. The undergraduate programs experiencing the most growth over last year include nursing, engineering, entrepreneurship, chemistry, and special education.
Scott Belobrajdic, Associate Vice Chancellor for Enrollment, tells The Big Z those numbers encompass a diverse student population.

The growing numbers can be attributed to many factors, according to Belobrajdic, including academic quality and affordability. He says fall enrollment is also moving at a record pace.
