Republican governor candidate Bruce Rauner has released his latest tax forms. His form 1040 for 2013 shows that Rauner and his wife declared $60 million in income – up from $52 million in 2012. They paid $17 million in federal and state taxes, a tax rate of 27.5 percent. They also donated $5 million to charity.
Rauner said in a statement that his wealth means he can’t be bought.
