Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner made a stop in Alton on Wednesday, calling on Illinois lawmakers, specifically Democrats, to get the ball moving again on the budget.  Last minute spending plans were defeated in Springfield late Tuesday night and the state could be headed into a second year without a full budget in place.

Rauner used the Alton Mental Health Center as a kickoff to a statewide tour to push his budget agenda and blast the majority party for failing to pass a balanced budget.  He says Democrats who want solutions are beginning to step up:
