The reopening of the Great River Road between Alton and Grafton was a welcomed sight for many businesses in Alton and Grafton that rely on summer tourism. The roadway is only way to reach Raging Rivers Waterpark and General Manager Donna Smith says the water didn't reach into the park, but that the flood did cost the park nearly $20-thousand.
Despite the financial set back, Smith is confident that the park will bounce back as temperatures are forecast to rise into the 90's the next couple of days.
The park will operate under normal business hours, which are from 10:30 a.m. until 7 p.m. every day of the week. You can learn about ticket prices and find out other information by calling 786-2345 or by visiting www.ragingrivers.com
