A new Illinois law requires that daycare centers now test their facilities for the potentially deadly gas Radon.  And while officials say that testing for the gas is a good thing, the law doesn't require the centers to do anything to get rid of it.  The EPA says Radon causes about 21-thousand lung cancer deaths in the U.S., and the new law would make daycare centers perform the costly tests before they renew their licenses.

Critics say the centers should have to rectify the situation, but the new law doesn't require a fix.
