The enrollment period for Medicare Part D has been closed for some time, but there is an opportunity for you to un-enroll in their plan and move into a prescription drug plan.  The deadline to do that is Friday, and counselors at Senior Services Plus in Alton are available to help you choose a plan if you decide to go in that direction.

She says if you are a state or teacher retiree affected by the new plan coverage and you did not select a plan by December 13th it is recommended that you consider a Medicare Part D-Prescription Drug Plan or regular Medicare Advantage.  For more information, call 465-3298 ext. 110 or 115.
