The Mannie Jackson Center for the Humanities in Edwardsville held its inaugural fundraiser last night on the SIU-Edwardsville campus. The first guest speaker was former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and former U.S. Secretary of State General Colin Powell. Two hundred tickets were purchased for the sold out event.
