A popular anti-drug poster contest returns this fall. Madison County State's Attorney Tom Gibbons says the contest is in conjunction with Red-Ribbon Week, which runs October 23-31. Students in grades 3-5 are encouraged to participate, so Gibbons is inviting kids to get started on their posters now.
He says this year's theme is "A Healthy Me Is Drug-Free."
Posters are due at the State's Attorney's office by Friday, October 4 at 4pm. Held every October since 1986, the Red-Ribbon campaign is one of the largest drug-prevention campaigns in the country. For more information, call 692-6280
