Checking local police reports provided this morning to Z-1570, the Madison County Sheriff's Department reports a problem in Meadowbrook over the weekend. There were multiple reports of windows of homes and vehicles being shot out or damaged in the village most likely from a pellet or BB gun being discharged. Police say after speaking to witnesses, they are looking for two vehicles, a dark in color mid 80's Camaro or Mustang and a white pick up truck. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff's Department at 692-4433.
Police in the county also arrested 56 year old Michael Moniger of the 1700 block of Captains Drive in Worden for aggravated DUI. He was found asleep behind the wheel of his vehicle as it sat in the roadway last Friday night near his home. He had two previous DUI convictions, according to police.
Alton Police held 23 year old Lashay Scruggs of the 3300 block of Myrtle Steet for aggravated domestic battery.
Wood River Police held 38 year old Monty Wallace of the 200 block of Lakeside in East Alton for criminal trespass to land.
