Checking local police reports, four women from the St. Louis area have been charged in connection with a string of thefts from local Lowe's Home Improvement stores. 20-year old Allexus R. Flucker of Florissant, MO, 33-year old Rosato Swopes, 22-year old Regina M. Anderson and 24-year old Tamika L. Stewart, all of St. Louis each face two felony counts of burglary following thefts from the Lowe's Home Improvement stores in Granite City and Alton.They are all in custody and each is being held on a $50,000 bond.
The Madison County Sheriff's Office reports that felony charges have been filed against an Alton man. 50-year old Eric D. M. Woodson of the 6th block of Woodview Court has been charged with a single count of felony retail theft after he allegedly exited the Schnuck's Supermarket on Godfrey Road without paying for a bottle of vodka that was in his possession. Woodson qualified for the enhanced sentence due to a previous conviction in August 2011. He remains in custody and is being held on a $15,000 bond.
