Checking overnight police activity, the Madison County Sheriff's Department is seeking warrants against two teens who were allegedly driving at a high rate of speed when one of them crashed and rolled his car Friday morning. The car came to a rest at a tree line near the intersection of Humbert Road and Roach Road. The driver suffered non life-threatening injuries, and may be charged with recless driving, driving while license suspended, and criminal tresspass to motor vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle was stopped at the scene, but had not crashed. He was arrested at the scene.

Alton Police were holding 47-year-old Mark A. Scheiler of the 800 block of Brighton - Bunker Hill Road in Bunker Hill for driving on a suspended license; 32-year-old Andre L. Darden of the 900 block of Washington Avenue for driving on a suspended license; and 49-year-old Walter E. Williams-Bey of the 400 block of Cherry Street on a warrant. There was no one new being held in the East Alton or Wood River Jails this morning.
