Checking overnight police activity, two Granite City residents are facing charges for allegedly supplying drugs to another man who died after taking them. 28-year-old Cory Armbruster of the 4,200 block of Division Street and 30-year-old Becky Chandler of the first block of University Drive are both charged with unlawful deliver of a controlled substance for allegedly delivering the drug fentanyl to 48-year-old William Smith last month. Both are being held in the Madison County Jail on $50,000 dollar bonds.

Alton police report numerous charges of failure to register as a sex offender following a compliance check last month. Charged are 29-year-old Jarvis T. Day of the 1200 block of Garden Street; 26-year-old Richard W. Taylor of the 1200 block of Klunke Street; 51-year-old Michael A. Masiero of the 2600 block of Sidney Street; 24-year-old Mark D. Shorter of the 300 block of Big Arch Road; 42-year-old Anthony L. Greer, and 30-year-old Christopher M. Echols, address unknown on both.  Checking overnight police activity, there was no one being held in the East Alton or Wood River Jails during our morning check.
