Applications are available for Archery Deer Permits for the Upper Group Camp Area at Pere Marquette State Park. Applications will be accepted until 10am on Friday, April 1st when a random drawing will be held at the Pere Marquette State Lodge Visitor's Center. Applications are also being accepted for Archery Deer Hunting at Horseshoe Lake State Park starting March 1.

A windshield card must be displayed on the dash of the hunter's vehicle while parked for hunting or scouting at Pere Marquette. No hunting is allowed at the Nature Preserve and no hunting is permitted within 100 yards of any main access road and all tree stands must be portable. Hunters at both parks must hold a valid Illinois Archery Deer Permit.  Lottery drawings will also be held at the Horseshoe Lake State Park office on April 1st.
