Carole Brite, with Planned Parenthood Illinois, says the drop seems to coincide with fewer babies being born. Brite says more women are choosing to use contraceptions these days, which could also contribute to the decreased abortion rate. Thousands of those opposed to abortion marched in the nation's capitol earlier this week to mark the anniversary of the Roe V Wade decision that legalized abortion in the U.S.
