The second phase of Trailblazers Commons is officially open in Godfrey. Located just north of the Lewis and Clark Community College campus, the new building joins the first phase that opened in 2014 and now has room for up to 148 students.
The ribbon cutting for Phase II took place yesterday. The new building contains 12 units and additional parking. While not officially a part of Lewis and Clark, developer Elm Street Student Housing worked closely with the school and contractor Contegra Construction to build housing that would be attractive and affordable for community college students. The units are set up for double occupancy, contain a kitchen with appliances and utilities are included. Trailblazer Commons will have information available about the units during the Lewis and Clark Open House event this Sunday from Noon to 2pm.
