National Police Week runs tomorrow through May 16, and a local pastor is asking for the public to recognize the good work of local law enforcement. While police officers around the country have been under the microscope over the past year due to a handful of incidents, Marc Lane, the Alton Police Department Chaplain, reminds the majority of the men an women in uniform are honest, hard-working people.
Lane tells The Big Z the hope is to show support for our local police by taking a moment to thank them.
