The state has launched its annual "Start Seeing Motorcycles" campaign. 146 motorcyclists died on Illinois roads in 2015, up from the previous year. State Police Lieutenant Richard Kozik says they want to reduce motorcycle fatalities, and has these tips for riders.

Kozik says riders should also be aware of other vehicles and look out for potholes and slick roads. Drivers are encouraged to do their part and give motorcycles plenty of room.
