Five people have been charged in connection with a meth making operation in Cottage Hills.  42 year old Troy E. Howard of the first block of Harvel Court was arrested by Illinois State Police last week and charged in Madison County Court.   Four other people living at the residence are also facing charges.

Police had a warrant for Howard, and while making the arrest, discovered an extensive meth-making operation at his home.  Howard is charged with aggravated unlawful participation in meth manufacturing, and possession of a weapon by a felon after police say they also found a gun in the house.  Also charged with aggravated unlawful participation in meth manufacturing are 54-year-old Cecil Ruble, Junior; 52 year old Timothy Reger; 46 year old Delbert Spa; and 42 year old Traci Kraushaar who all lived as the residence.
