A Cottage Hills man is facing a lengthy prison term if he is found guilty of trafficking Meth. 46-year-old Raymond A. Rush of the first block of Rose Avenue in Cottage Hills was charged this week with felony Meth trafficking and unlawful possession with intent to deliver Meth following an arrest last weekend.
The Madison County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop on Rush in Cottage Hills last Saturday for suspected driving on a revoked license. Police report upon a search of the vehicle, they discovered several thousand dollars worth of Meth inside. At the time of his arrest, Rush was already facing charges of driving on a revoked license from a traffic stop in August, and possession of Meth from an arrest in June. He is being held on the new charges in the Madison County Jail on a $150,000 bond. Rush could face up to 30 years in prison if convicted.
