An ongoing state operation to crack down on child pornography has resulted in another arrest.  37-year-old Timothy Saxton of Wilsonville, in Macoupin County, was arrested at his home on Tuesday and charged Wednesday in Macoupin County Court with multiple counts of possession and distribution.

The arrest is part of the Illinois Attorney General’s Operation Glass House that was launched in 2010 to investigate and arrest offenders trading child pornography on line.  The operation has so far netted 75 arrests.  The Macoupin County Sherrif’s Department carried out the arrest of Saxton and he will be prosecuted in the county.  If he is found guilty, Saxton could serve from three to thirty years in jail.  Bond has been set at $100,000.
