Madison County leaders are continuing their efforts to improve the county’s economy by strengthening its’ relationship with area manufacturers. Last week Madison County Chairman Alan Dunstan announced a new partnership between the County and the Illinois Manufacturing Excellence Center.
The goal of the partnership is to help manufacturers in Madison County maximize production, increase global competitiveness, stimulate the local economy and create more jobs for county residents according to Dunstan. IMEC officials estimate that on average, every dollar invested in their assistance programs generates twenty dollars in client return.
