A Godfrey man has been honored posthumously for his service to our country.  James S. Halloway, Jr. served as a reservist in the U.S. Navy during WWII.  His wife accepted a number of medals on his behalf Friday.

U.S. Representative Rodney Davis presented them at the Godfrey Village Hall.
