"Mark Stewart is the best choice for Godfrey Mayor", says John Hill
I have known Mark for over 20 years, and he is a smart, honest, and dedicated man. He has always fought hard for the residents of Godfrey and he will always put them first. If you give him a chance on my recommendation, I believe you will be pleased with your decision.

I have been around politics all my life and I have seen all the political endorsements for the current Mayor and cannot imagine any need for those people to be involved in this local non-partisan race. That may tell you where a person’s allegiances lie.
I have known the Mike for several years and will give him credit for some good things. But being Mayor for 12 years is long enough and that applies to any office. It is good to have fresh ideas and eyes to tackle projects and to get things done. It is time for new voices and new leadership
Do not worry, Mark Stewart has the capability to work with federal, state, and local leaders and will bring just as many projects and grant dollars, if not more, into Godfrey for improvements. Grants, by law, cannot be based on who the Mayor is, but are based on whether a project/area is worthy or meets the qualifications.
Believe me, Mark can deliver on his plans and ideas too, especially if the residents help put pressure on the board to support them. That’s how all things get done, the people help make it happen with strong leadership from the Mayor.
