Legislators at the state house are awaiting Governor Pat Quinn's approval of a bill that will see state legislators take a bit of a pay cut next year.  The House approved a measure that would reject cost of living raises for all legislators, the governor, state agency directors and other officials.

It would also force the lawmakers to work for 12 days without pay, a reduction of three-thousand dollars in their salaries.  Some legislators said the passage of the bill was a good first step toward bipartisan agreement on other major issues.
