A month full of events commemorating Black History Month is set to begin this week at Lewis & Clark Community College.  Things get started Monday with a talk by communications expert D.C. Cooper in the Reid Memorial Library at noon.

The college's Jared Henings says there will be music on Wednesday from 11am-1pm in the Reid Restaurant.

Many of the other events in the series will take place in the Reid Restaurant or Reid Memorial Library on the school's Godfrey campus, with a few other sites also hosting activities.  The month wraps up with an Underground Railroad tour.
