A St. Louis man convicted in a pair of Illinois’ bank robberies has been sentenced to a decade in federal prison. That sentence was handed down against 39-year old Altonio G. Graves last week. He was convicted onon two counts of conspiracy to commit bank robbery, two counts of bank robbery, and one count of felon in possession of a firearm in connection with the robbery of the Laclede Credit Union in Alton and of another facility in Altamont, Illinois in February of 2013.
In addition to the prison term, Graves will serve three years of supervised release and must pay $5,684 in restitution. The case was investigated by several agencies including the Alton Police Department, Altamont Police Department, the Illinois State Police, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
