Costumes, trick-or-treating and a carnival are all part of an event coming up a week from Saturday in Jerseyville.  On October 25, the Jerseyville Halloween Festival will begin at the Lion’s Club Park at 10:30am with several age groups represented.  Participants will then parade down State Street and trick-or-treat at local businesses.

Jerseyville Public Library’s Lori Ingram says there is a carnival planned at their facility at noon.
