Voters in Jersey County spoke and brought in some newcomers to the County Board on Tuesday. In District 1, the winners were Donna Moore and Mary Kirbach, but Roger Newberry is a newcomer to the board from the district and won a seat.
In District 2, Dr. John Houseman wins a seat as a first time candidate, joining incumbents Jerry Wittman and Board Chairman Pam Heitzig.
In District 3, the winners include Gary Hayes along with newcomers Rhonda Linders and Tony Cary.
In District 4 for the Jersey County Board, those elected include incumbents Ed Koenig and Jeff Ferguson, and newcomer Gary Koenig.
Voters in Jerseyville approved an electric aggregation measure 53-percent to 47-percent.
