Jesse Jackson, Junior’s campaign team isn’t cooperating with the feds when it comes to revealing how much cash the former congressman has on hand. Records from the Federal Elections Commission show Jackson has missed the last three reporting deadlines and has received three warnings about the failure to report what’s in his campaign account. He could face a civil money penalty, audit, or even more legal troubles if he doesn’t cooperate.
Jackson resigned from office last November amid claims he misused 750-thousand dollars from the campaign fund. He later pled guilty to the charge and is scheduled to be sentenced next week.
