Get Covered Illinois is hoping humor will convince young people to enroll in the state's healthcare exchange.  Illinois has entered into an agreement with the satirical website "The Onion" to create funny ads meant to attract the 21 to 34-year-old age group. 

That group of generally healthy individuals must enroll in plans through the exchange to make the Affordable Care Act financially viable.  The state will pay 150-thousand dollars for banner ads, a video and other custom features created by Onion, Incorporated.
