The state is coming in at number seven, up one spot from last year's ranking. More than 200 corporate facilities came to Illinois or expanded last year.
Governor Pat Quinn is pleased with the news, saying he's committed to making Illinois more attractive for businesses. He says he has an aggressive long term strategy for bringing quality jobs to Illinois. He intends to increase innovation, exports, and foreign investment this year.
