If you have questions about attracting hummingbirds to your garden, the Lewis and Clark State Historic Site will host its sixth Hummingbird Festival Saturday, co-sponsored by the Lincoln Land Association of Bird Banders. Vernon Kleen, author and licensed bird bander, will be on site with a team of assistants and members of the Great Rivers Chapter of the Illinois Audubon Society.
Site manager Brad Winn tells The Big Z you will want to get there early if you plan to adopt a hummingbird.
