You can help support the arts in the Riverbend by hosting a German student or one of the adults traveling with them.  The Alton Symphony Orchestra is welcoming about 70 young musicians and 18 adults August 4-7.  The symphony president says host homes do not have to be large or fancy, just safe and clean.

During an appearance on The Big Z, Joe Cacciottoli says there will be 70 students and 18 adults making a swing through the Riverbend.

Cacciatolli says host families will provide meals on two days, and a sack lunch at departure.  The only other expense host families are expected to absorb is the cost of transportation to five concerts while the students are in town.  For more information, call 465-6676.
