There are plenty of places that are considered haunted around Alton. One of the places that is not hopes to conjure up a little of the haunted spirit this Friday, as the National Great Rivers Museum is hosting its second annual Haunted Museum event from 6-9pm. The night will feature trick or treating, evening lock and dam tours, games and craft stations.
Park Ranger Erin Hilligoss-Volkmann says there will be fun for all young and old alike.
The cost to attend this event is a suggested donation of $5, and proceeds will go to fund future educational programming at the National Great Rivers Museum. This event is open to all ages.
