The Lewis & Clark Confluence Tower in Hartford is heading into the winter months with a toy drive in progress and new hours of operation. The public is invited to stop by over the next few weeks, and bring a toy for a discounted admission to the tower.
Tower Manager Amy Curry says the toy is a donation to the Toys for Tots campaign.
From the vantage point of the tower, you can see the convergence of the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers in Hartford. Curry says the new hours are Friday and Saturdays from 9:30am-5pm, and Sundays from noon - 5pm.
