A Granite City man is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly shooting a female acquaintance Wednesday night. 47-year old Timothy N. Brown of the 2600 block of David Morgan Drive has been charged with aggravated battery with a firearm and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
Brown allegedly shot a 27-year old woman once in the shoulder just after 5 p.m. Wednesday. She was transported to a St. Louis area hospital where she was listed in satisfactory condition on Thursday. Brown was taken into custody a short time after the shooting by Granite City Police. He has been extradited into the custody of Madison County Police and his bail has been set at $100,000.
