The governor's “Turnaround Agenda” tour continues to tout “right to work” concepts which, Gov. Bruce Rauner says, would help Illinois be more competitive with neighboring states. Some of the specifics are yet to be announced.  For example, which lawmakers will sponsor the bills that he wants passed. “Our agenda is being drafted into bill form. Those bills will be ready in the coming days,” Rauner says.

“I'm pretty confident that we will have bipartisan support for them. It's too early to say” which representatives and senators will sponsor the bills.  “I don't want to get out in front of the (legislative) leaders on what will be in or out of that particular reallocation of budget money,” Rauner said of whether a Fiscal Year 2015 financial fix will include cuts to elementary and secondary education. “I'll leave that to the right announcement.”
