The Christmas Wonderland display at Alton's Rock Spring Park continues tonight, and will now run through Thursday night December 27. The “Grandpa Gang” has on display more than 2.5 million lights for this annual event, with displays like the cascading waterfall, lighted tunnels and many colorful trees and displays.
Bob Osbourne is head of the Grandpa Gang. He says crowds have been up again this year, so they decided to extend the season by a couple of days.
The Christmas Wonderland display hours are 6-9 p.m. on weekdays. The cost to see the display is still $7 for cars and small vans, and $1 per person for vehicles with 10 or more passengers.
